My Favorite Thing About My Work at RSG
Recently I had a participant wanting to take out a loan for his son's college tuition, we spoke about the loan implications and it turns out he and his spouse pay a lot in annual taxes, so I explained how a pre-tax contribution can help him lower his taxable liability and also explained the state tax benefit of a 529 college savings plan. He opted not to take a loan out.
About Me
Judy is a client’s first line of contact, building relationships with both small businesses and their employees. She works closely with internal and external partners to make sure her clients’ retirement plan is best suited for their company needs. Judy can assist with any plan questions and participant education for English and Spanish participants.
Whether she’s helping plan participants understand the benefits of pre-tax contributions in lowering tax liability or explaining how a 529 college savings plan, Judy is always looking out for her clients and their employees. She is a strong believer that Financial Education is imperative for every employee’s retirement, stating that “They do not know what they do not know.”
